So! I opened a position today.
AMD I believe will have a pretty strong quarter due to the fact that the pent up demand for Sony PS4's are quite amazing. 1 million units pre-ordered already, with more each and every day.
There is also inventory building by Sony, which is another catalyst.
Anyone here have input?

I think it's certainly a good buy. They have been posting losses for a while and on October 17th they are probably going to post another loss. But following that, it should be a profit and stock should really move upwards because of that. But... what if they post a (slight) surprise profit on October 17th? That should cause a rally because the guidance is for 'loss'.

Sold my BB position and added the left money to increase my AMD position. Hopefully this won't be a disaster like BB.

Offer what people want to buy, not just what you want to sell. Too often, people jump into a business built around a product or service they think will be successful, rather than one that is already proven to have a market.
